CryptMeUp now uses one primary fee model for supported payments: EVM smart-contract fee settlement. Merchants add their own wallet, generate a QR code, and receive funds directly in that wallet.
The platform fee is handled through the supported EVM payment rail instead of a prepaid balance. Gas fees and other chain-level transaction costs remain normal network costs and are separate from the displayed payment amount.
Supported Payment Rails
| Network Group | Fee Model | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon | Smart-contract fee settlement | Designed for QR-first direct wallet-to-wallet payments and EVM checkout links. |
Prepaid payment bundles are not part of the active CryptMeUp payment model. Webshop checkout remains available on supported EVM rails, but permanent QR payments are the primary merchant flow.
