Beyond EVM: Why CryptMeUp Is Expanding To Bitcoin, XRP, And Litecoin
Publiká: 2026-04-24 19:10
CryptMeUp currently supports five EVM chains, and the next expansion wave focuses on Bitcoin, XRP, and Litecoin to broaden real-world payment coverage.
CryptMeUp started with EVM depth, now it is adding non-EVM breadth
Our first growth chapter focused on five EVM chains because that gave us a consistent technical base for wallet flows, verification patterns, and merchant operations.
That part of the roadmap is important, but real payment demand is wider than one chain family. The next wave is about supporting Bitcoin, XRP, and Litecoin so merchants can serve users who do not live inside an EVM-only mindset.
Why this expansion is a product decision, not only a technical one
Adding non-EVM chains is not about checking boxes on a listing page. It is about reducing payment friction for the kinds of users merchants already have.
Many customers still think in BTC first, some communities are deeply XRP-native, and Litecoin remains a practical network for simple transfers. Supporting those patterns makes CryptMeUp more useful in daily operations.
What stays the same while chain coverage grows
The platform standard does not change just because the chain family changes. Payment clarity, predictable state, and reliable verification remain core.
The goal is to make multi-chain support feel coherent from the merchant side instead of creating disconnected mini-products for each network.
