WooCommerce Crypto Payments Are Coming

If you run a WooCommerce store, the checkout experience matters more than almost anything else.

That is why WooCommerce is one of the most practical platforms for us to support next. We are working toward a WordPress plugin that will let merchants accept crypto payments directly inside their WooCommerce shop, without forcing customers into a confusing side flow.

WooCommerce already powers a large part of independent e-commerce.

It is flexible, widely understood, and used by merchants who want more control over their storefront. That makes it a strong fit for crypto payments, especially for stores with international customers, digital products, or communities that are already comfortable with wallets.

The goal is not to add crypto as a gimmick.
